On November 16th, the annual powderpuff game was played. Some junior and senior ladies went head to head in a game of flag football. The seniors ended up winning the game, but the juniors put up a fight. The final score of the game was 26-20 after the seniors got a touchdown in the final minute of the game.

The head coach for the senior girls was Cole Bell, along with his assistants Jonah Foster, Seth Slater, and Wayne Bird.

The junior coaches were Kaleb Kammerer, Patrick Shea, Mitchell Huston, Logan Croll, and Sean Northcott.

Junior Samantha Harriet said, “It was a close game, and it was really fun playing against the seniors.”

Juinors Emily Sarver, Madigan Roxberry, and Chyenne Ragle laugh together before the game.

Even with the score being as close as it was near the end, Coach Bell said, “I believed in our girls and I knew that we’d come out on top.”

The game was an overall success according to some of the players. They played two quarters and each of them were 20 minutes. The last few minutes of each quarter were like actual football and the clock stopped.

According to junior Grace Bell, “This was a very intense game, but it was also very fun. I cannot wait till next year’s game.”
